Hopkins, Sarah

I met Sarah in November 2015, based in a converted house in Swansea centre is the Swansea Printers workshop. Sarah is one of a number of printers to use the workshop.  Her work is vibrant and depicts striking images of Welsh heritage including rural and build up landscapes and industry.  Sarah was collaborating on a 'Project Power’, along with artist Tracey Moberly and musician Martyn Ware.   The aim of the project to look at family connections with the steel and coal industry, which got them fusing ideas in the first instance. Through exploring the five senses the project brings together the talents of all the artists, exploring each other’s trades.
