Recorded memoirs of Mrs Nellie Jones, Mrs Kitty Williams and Mrs Agnes Owen. They discuss their work experiences in Gurnos Tinplate Works as plate openers, and later in the Royal Ordnance Factory in Bridgend during the War. They also talk generally about their childhoood in Ystradgynlais before the War, parental discipline, poverty, ignorance about sex, and recreation during the evenings.
