- This is the Welsh senior cap awarded to Dai Richards on his Welsh international debut v France at Parc des Princes, Paris. French No8 Alain Guilbert (Toulon) scored a late try to seal a 14 - 13 home win. Dai Richards played 17 times for Wales between 1979 and 1983, scoring 4 tries. Dai was voted Welsh Rugby Annual player of the year for 1980.
