- Abstract
- Dai Richards was presented with this Swansea cap in recognition of his having passed the 100 appearances mark with the club. In fact Dai made a total of 305 games for Swansea, scoring 112 tries and amassing 485 points between 1972 and 1986. He played against Italy (1972), Fiji (1973 & 1985), Australia (1875), New Zealand (1980) and New Zealand Maoris (1982) for the club. Dai Richards captained Swansea during 1981-82, 1982-83 and 1983-84, becoming the first post war player to have captained the club for 3 consecutive seasons. He was presented with this cap by club President Stan Addicott on 15th December 2018.
