- Abstract
- This jersey was worn by New Zealand Maoris centre Steve Pokere in the tour match at St Helen's against Swansea on 30th October 1982. Dai Richards, at outside-half, captaind the Swansea team who won the match 15 - 12. Swansea full-back Mark Wyatt kicked 5 penalties. Steve Pokere scored the Maoris' only try. Richard Dunn converted and added 2 penalties, but it was not enough to beat Richards' All Whites. Pokere and Richards exchanged jerseys afterwards.
