- Swansea played Blackeath on the 1st March 1952 in what was a very high scoring win for Swansea. The final score was 23-16 with 4 tries and conversions coming from the Swansea team. Dill Johnson scored two of the tries with Brian Edwards and Perris James scoring the other two, Wilf Jones converted all four tries to give Swansea the win.
