- This pennant was presented to Swansea RFC by the Constructorul Rugby Club Bucharest when they toured in Romania in August 1954. Swansea were thus the first western club to play behind the ‘Iron Curtain’. The second of two matches was against This club on 24 September 1954 (won 16 – 5) at the Stade Dynamo (capacity 30,000).
