- Swansea RFC first fifteen Photographed at the 'Town End' of the Grandstand which was upgraded in 1929. P: 28, W: 16, D: 5, L: 7, Pts for: 172, ag: 85. This was a difficult season for Swansea, with the James brothers David and Evan still suspended for alleged professionalism. Teddy Thorogood steadied the ship as captain. He had played for the club, predominantly as a full-back, since 1886.
