The Swansea RFC first fifteen in the 1888-89 Season. P: 29, W: 14, D: 6, L: 9, Pts For: 183, ag: 145. This season Swansea played a touring side from the southern hemisphere for the first time. The New Zealand Maoris beat Swansea at St Helen's on 24th December 1888 by 11 - 0.
