Abstract: This is the Triple Crown blazer of swansea and Wales second-row Geoff Wheel. It commemorates his participation in Wales' Triple Crown campaigns of 1976 and 1977. Wheel played in all four 1976 matches where Wales secured the Grand Slam. In 1977 he and Ireland's Willie Duggan became the first players sent of in the Championship after a 37th minute punch up. Missing the France match, Wheel returned to play in the remaining 'Home Nations' games where Wales again secured the Triple Crown. Geoff Wheel won 32 Welsh caps between 1974 and 1982 and captained Swansea in 1979-80 and 1980-81. Kindly gifted by Geoff Wheel
