This ‘All Black’ jersey was presented to Swansea RFC by Mervyn Davies and is from the Wales v New Zealand match at Cardiff Arms Park on 2nd December 1972. The tourists won 19 - 16, Phil Bennett missing a late penalty that would have drawn the match. Mervyn Davies first played for Wales against New Zealand in 1969. He also played in all 4 tests on the Lions’ victorious tour in New Zealand in 1971.
