Abstract
-
this envelope carried copies of the various correspondence between Swansea Football club and Thomas Cook & Son Travel Agents from March 1898 to April 1899. The pencilled later note is in the hand of David Price (swansea RFC Hon. Sec. 1956-1992) and refers to T C Prosser, who was Hon. Sec. before him (1945-1956) and who evidently did not return the contents to the party who loaned them to the club. The large capacity envelope was probably used to send a bulk positing of tickets and vouchers connected to transport and accomodation, to the Swansea club. these are rferred to in the various letters in sets OT107 to OT117.
